Become A Foster Parent

The process to become a foster parent typically takes 1–2 months and involves several important steps to ensure safety and preparedness.

Fostering Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Must complete an Information Session (virtual or in person at the office)

  • Must undergo both Child Protective Screenings and Criminal Records Checks

  • Must complete a Medical Exam

  • Must successfully complete Pre-Service NTDC (National Training and Development Curriculum)

  • Must provide proof of Current Residence and Financial Stability
